On a hot summer day, nothing hits the spot like a large Cherry Limeade. I don’t get one very often, but when I do, it’s a real treat.
Recently, I pulled into SONIC, ordered my favorite drink, and as the carhop came bouncing toward my window with a big grin, he said something that stuck with me:
“Thank you for the tip!”
It wasn’t just polite—it was genuine, excited, and full of appreciation. His words turned an everyday exchange into something memorable. I didn’t just leave with a refreshing drink—I left with a refreshing reminder:
Gratitude makes a difference—for the giver and the receiver.
The carhop modeled what our team at Fulling Management & Accounting, Inc. calls a Champion Attitude. His thank you lifted my day, and it made me think about the power of appreciation in business and in life.
Who in your life or on our team deserves to hear the words “Thank you” today?
Gratitude costs nothing, but it carries enormous weight. It creates connection, strengthens culture, and fuels trust. When we build the habit of saying thank you, we create the kind of family, workplace, and community where people feel valued—and that changes everything.
