Sometimes God just wants our "Yes."

I still remember the moment someone asked me if I wanted to run a half marathon to raise money for clean water in Africa.

My first thought? Ha. No.

I wasn't a runner. I wasn't in shape. And honestly, the whole idea felt a little… ridiculous.

But something stirred in me. A nudge I couldn't quite shake.

So I said yes.

Not because I was ready. Not because I had it all figured out. But because somewhere deep down, I knew that God wasn't asking me to be qualified — He was just asking me to show up.

What happened next is a story I'll never get tired of telling.

I recently shared it at our church — the full story of how one "yes" turned into something far bigger than a race.

It's about clean water, that most of us take for granted. It's about kids in Africa, Honduras, and so many other places who are alive today because a bunch of ordinary people decided to lace up their shoes and take a step of faith.

Here's what I know after 9 years of running events with Team World Vision — and yes, I'm lacing up again this year:

The miracle is rarely waiting on God.

It's usually waiting on us.

He's already moving behind the scenes. He's already preparing the path. He's just looking for someone willing to take the first step.

So let me ask you something —

Where is God asking you to say "yes" right now?

In your business? Your family? A cause that keeps tugging at your heart?

You don't have to have it all together. You just have to be willing.
