Don’t forget to celebrate the middle.

Last year, I set a big goal — over the next 3 years, Fulling Management & Accounting would double our impact. More clients. More team members. More revenue. More community reach.

But here’s the thing… in between the excitement of starting and the joy of finishing, there’s the middle.

And the middle isn’t always glamorous. It’s where you do the hard work, make adjustments, and sometimes wonder if you’re even “on track.”

This summer in Ethiopia, I met 10 amazing women who reminded me what the middle is all about.

They were 1/3 of the way through their 3-year entrepreneurial program with A Bright Future for Kids and had just finished their sewing module. They celebrated it with big smiles… and even bigger dance moves. (I may or may not have joined in.)

It hit me — they didn’t wait until they were done to celebrate.

They found joy in the progress.

So here’s to celebrating our middles — the milestones along the way that get us to the finish line.
