Is Your Work Signature-Worthy?
Last year, on a trip to Ethiopia, I bought ten doilies.
And for the record—I’m not a doily guy.
What made them valuable wasn’t the fabric or the design.
It was the signature of the woman who made each one.
Every piece was meticulously hand-crafted, reflecting growth, discipline, and confidence earned through education and hard work. In many ways, the doilies told the story of the artisans themselves—once broken into pieces, now shaped into something beautiful through patience, practice, and purpose.
The real value wasn’t in the art.
It was in the artist.
At Fulling Management & Accounting, we talk often about accountability and eternal impact. We believe the work we do matters beyond today’s task list, beyond this quarter’s results, and beyond ourselves. Numbers tell stories. Decisions shape lives. And how we show up in our work reflects who we are becoming.
In short – Signature-Worthy.
So today—whether you’re reviewing a report, serving a customer, leading a team, studying for an exam, or showing up for your family—pause for a moment and ask:
Is this worthy of my signature?
And if not, what one small step could make it so?
