“Your problem is someone else’s miracle.”

This is the theme of the Mark Batterson’s book A Million Little Miracles: Rediscover the God Who Is Bigger Than Big, Closer Than Close, and Gooder Than Good"

  • That client you’re stressed about?

  • The house you’re always cleaning?

  • The body you're frustrated with?

  • The calendar that won’t stop filling?

Those are someone else’s dreams.

While it's not always easy, Mark describes shifting mindsets:

  • Your long to-do list = Someone else praying for purpose or a second chance.

  • Your aging parents = Someone grieving the ones they've lost.

  • Your traffic jam = Someone walking miles because they don’t have a car.

  • Your busy schedule = Someone’s prayer to just be needed by anyone.

For me, the book was such a good reminder of our core value Champion Attitude.  It’s easy to get stuck in worry and comparison.  However, we do have the choice on how we approach daily situations.

In the situations you are facing right now, what would it look like to approach it with the miracle mindset Mark Batterson described?
